Chris: “This was a step in a new direction for the art of Pixar, but the art style was the best thing about the movie. I liked Inside Out better; it had a similar feel, and I’d rewatch that before returning to Soul.”

Matt: “Pixar manages to cover a religion-based theme in a secular manner that appeals to both adults and children. While I don’t feel the work here is ground-breaking, this is an easy, feel-good movie that families can enjoy together. The voice work is well done, and the music is as entertaining as the story demands.”
