Written and shot in quarantine in the Strawberry Lodge near South Lake Tahoe, the film centers on a group of people who find themselves locked down at the lodge in the middle of a pandemic and while having to cope with spending extra time with each other, they find that maintaining their sanity and distance from one another proves to be harder than it seems.
The cast for the film is composed of an ensemble roster that includes Joseph Sikora (Power), Clifford “TIP” Harris (Ant-Man and the Wasp), Andrew “King Bach” Bachelor (Greenland), Terrence J. (Think Like a Man), Ruby Modine (Happy Death Day 2U), Annie Ilonzeh (Chicago Fire), Iddo Goldberg (Snowpiercer) and Jessica Allain (The Laundromat).
The Fear won’t be the first time Taylor’s explored the horror-thriller genre after making his directorial debut with the 2007 slasher Dead Tone as well as the horror anthology film franchise Nite Tales, the 2010 slasher Chain Letter, Mike Epps-starring horror-comedy Meet the Blacks and last year’s The Intruder starring Dennis Quaid, Michael Ealy and Meagan Good.
